Evening Duty Q & A
Q: Do I need to serve a week of evening pool duty?
A: Yup! To keep our costs down and maintain our community pool, an adult member of each stockholder household is requested to serve one week of evening pool duty, unless:

You are physically or medically unable to do so.

You are older than 70.

Please Note: If you have signed up to serve and would like to pass the torch because of circumstances #1 or #2, please connect with the Evening Pool Duty Coordinator ASAP so that they can ensure a smooth transfer of coverage.

Q: Sooo… what exactly do I do for evening pool duty?
A: We will be holding Mandatory (re)Training sessions to show you! There will also be short videos available to give you a refresher (if needed) before you serve.

Some things are still the same, some things have needed to change in order to ensure our pool and property is kept consistently in working order. Your household key will not be issued unless you and/or a household member have attended the (re)Training.

Scheduled trainings will take place on Key Pick-up Evenings in May (dates TBA).

Training takes about 20 minutes, please plan accordingly.
Q: What if I need someone to swap or cover for me during my pool duty week?
​A: It happens! As in years past, please use the Stockholders Contact List and the evening duty Calendar (below) to coordinate your replacement coverage.

Please CC the Evening Pool Duty Coordinator in emails, or loop them in once you have things resorted so that they can update our evening duty calendar. If you need help finding coverage, let them know.

Please do not ask the Board or Coordinators to serve your duty for you if you are no longer able to serve during the time that you signed up for. They already volunteer countless hours each pool season to ensure that our families have a beautiful pool to enjoy all summer long.
